Hi Guys and Girls.
This is a long shot, but hopefully someone can help.
A few months ago, i managed to buy a (almost) complete box of issues for the Del Prado Building the Bounty. And for practice, before i begin my HMS Victory build, i have been steadily working my way through the building of the Bounty.
Unfortunatly, i have just discovered that one of the issuse is missing and i am now at a standstill.
So, i am hoping that someone else out there may have built one in the past, or might be building one now, and may be able to supply some information as to what the missing issue includes.
I know that it is a long shot, with it being so old now. But couldnt think of a better place to ask.
Oh yes, the issue is number 56.
many thanks
Jim

Hi Jim I have scanned the pages for what I believe is issue 56, (page numbers do not coincide with packet numbers). Bounty pagesIf that doesn't look right tell me which page numbers appear to be missing. In terms of materials I would think you can manage with some odd bits of timber and may well have enough spare sapelli left over from the hull. I hope this helps and welcome to the forum. Mike T

Damn it Mike, that brings back some fine memories of what I thought was a good pleasurable build...trouble was that my binders and their contents went astray when we moved house a few years back... Hope you enjoy your Bounty build Jim.. Current Builds: Deagostini HMS Victory: Deagostini HMS Sovereign of the seas. Completed Builds: Del Prado: HMAS Bounty: Hachette: RMS Titanic: Del Prado: Cutty Sark...

Thanks everyone for the help. Especially Mike for the PDFs. I should be able to cobble together the missing pieces now. I have a stock of balsa i bought to make up a missing piece from the lower decks. So that should come in quite handy. I have almost finished planking the hull. (And the free tool kit came in very handy there.) And will soon be onto the balwarks. So with a bit of luck i should be able to post a couple of picks in the next couple of weeks. Once again, thanks everyone for coming to my aid. Jim
