Sometimes I'm my own worst enemy. When I got issue number 4 I did not realize that parts 7,7a were missing. Till this day I still don't know why I didn't notice this. Perhaps it was my haste to get going. When I did realize this later in the build I told my news agent and she said I would have to bring in the copy I had. Well, I couldn't do this as I had glued what I had, so, I had to order this copy again.Blushing
One week later I finally got the issue and couldn't wait to get going again. This time I checked the parts only to find that one of the 7a parts were missing. I did not want to go through this drama again so I made my own.
I've since learned my lesson but I must say it gets frustrating finding parts missing. I don't know what lays ahead with the issues I've yet to use.

Sinbad, you have to be persistent and ask your news agent to resolve this. De Agostini is very proud of their product and will assist you to rectify this matter. I communicate directly with my agent and had no problems so far.

Bottom line: make a fuss until your agent had put your name on the "red" list as a serious customer.

Thanks for the advice Marcel. I'm not sure if my news agent has a red list. Next time I'm in there I will ask.
Our issues come from Australia
Reading what some have gone through with missing parts mine was minor. But then, who knows what lies ahead?

Hi Sinbad, I'm in Australia and had exactly the same problem with those items missing. If your Issues are coming from accross the ditch then possibly Bisset Magazines may still be the distributor as they are in Aust. There was an problem with that particular issue and those parts were accidently left out in some issues. Bisset Mags knew of the problem and had a heap of replacements for that issue when I called them. The sent out the parts immediately an I had them within a few days. I must admit, I have had a couple of issues with this partwork but Deag has always came through with fixes. Just thought I'd share my experiences.

Best of luck

Hi Persky, nice hearing from you.
I've noticed that the parts for Sovereign of The Seas come in sheet form, where you have to punch them out. This would have made things a lot easier if this had been done with Victory.
I have asked admin why this happens so often.
Thanks
