Black Sails is a new TV series about Captain Flint and his pirates. Its being filmed in the studio at Helderberg, CAPE TOWN. This 3 life size sailboats has been specially constructed for this series and can be seen from the N1-highway . Sorry to resurrect such an old thread, but I just recently started binge-watching this show and it's really fantastic. Not only is a good show in general, but there are some really great up close looks at working ships. Well, at least The Starz Channel version of them. Absolutely love this show! It has gotten better and better with each season. Currently up to season 3. In fact a new episode airs today!  I reckon it's this show that has also spurred me on to continue working on my victory model. The cgi of some of the ship battles/scenes have been top notch. Worthy of any hollywood blockbuster movie! If you enjoy stories of pirates and high seas adventure and battles I would also highly recommend this show! Give quiche a chance!My Victory build
