Hey guys, great series so far, looking forward to completion.

Just wanted to ask about the rear drive shafts/outdrives from issue 47. I noticed that they're made of plastic or some kind of FRP material. I was wondering if they will be able to handle the the power/torque loads comming through them. Will they be durable enough?

Kyosho are renowned and experienced model car manufacturers, the drive shafts will most certainly be up to the task.

I do hope Kyosho have done their homework on this :)

Gonna be a lot of issue 47's being re-ordered otherwise.

Thanks Tomick :)

The plastic shaft should last better than the metal shafts .the other r/c cars I have with metal shafts always seem to twist from the torque. The plastic I am sure will be more forgiving as it will flex and then go back to normal
