Issue 45 Part 1

The Back

Picture 1 shows the contents of this issue.

Place a nut into the right waist frame, picture 2. Take the right and left waist frames and joint them together as shown in picture 3. Take 3 x H screws and place a serrated washer over each of them as illustrated in picture 4.

Place three of the nuts into the inside of the frame, picture 5, then turn over and place the screws into the washers as shown in picture 6.

Retrieve the back assembly from issue 44 and position the waist frame as illustrated in picture 7. Start connecting the back and waist from the left-hand side. Place 3 nuts on the inside and joint them together using 3 x H bolts as shown in pictures 8 and 9.

That completes the assembly for part 1 of this issue.

Issue 45 Part 2

The Back

Fix the right side by following the same procedure, fitting the two bolts and nuts shown in pictures 10 and 11. Picture 12 shows the placements of the bolts.

Finishing securing the left side by fixing a type E screw, picture 13.

In the two-side hole, fix two M3 nuts, picture 14. Now fit one of the joint covers using a type E screw as shown in picture 15. Make sure the notch in the joint cover faces outwards. Do the same with the other side, picture 16.

Picture 17 shows the completed assembly for part 2 of this issue.

Issue 46

The Back

Picture 1 shows the contents of this issue.

Start by putting together the two blue back plates using 2 x E screws to secure them in place, picture 2.

Carefully separate the magnets and insert an ā€œIā€ type screw as shown in picture 3. Place all eight magnets by screwing them into position as illustrated in picture 4. Note: Do not over tighten the screws as the magnets are quite brittle and may break.

Next, fit the blue plate in place on the back, picture 5. Turn the assembly over and secure it in place using 14 x E type screws as shown in picture 6.

Picture 7 shows the completed assembly for this issue.

Issue 47

The Spider Leg Support

Picture 1 shows the contents of this issue.

Place two of the M4 nuts into the bar structure as shown in picture 2. Take the rounded bracket over the nuts and secure it using a type E screw, picture 3.

Place two more M4 nuts into position, picture 4 and place the square bracket over them in the same way as before, again securing it using a type E screw, picture 5.

Picture 6 shows the completed assembly for this issue.

Issue 48

The Spider Leg Supports

Picture 1 shows the contents of this issue.

Insert one of the shock absorbers (they are both the same) into the number two leg support, picture 2. Prepare four J bolts and place a washer on each one, picture 3.

Using an allen key, screw the four bolts so the shock absorber is secured to the support, picture 4.

Insert one of the magnets inside the shock absorber, noting which way around it sits, picture 5, then one of the rubber dampers over the magnet inside the shock absorber. Fix the assembly to the support by using 4 x J bolts and washers as before, picture 6.

Do the same with the number one support, picture 7.

Prepare four H bolts with a washer, picture 8.

Now place the supports onto the support plate, picture 9. Each support will have a number on it to show which support is which. Insert an M4 nut into the top corner of the support as illustrated in picture 10, turning the assembly over and fixing the bolts to the nuts, picture 11.

Picture 12 shows the completed assembly for this issue.

Issue 49

Issue 50

The Spider Leg Supports

Picture 1 shows the contents of this issue.

Prepare four of the type K bolts by threading a serrated washer on each, picture 2.

Retrieve the assemblies from the previous issue and issue 47. Place the structure from issue 47 one of the two bars that came with this issue and position the hole at the top of the bar, next to the arrow point upwards. Place the bottom of the bar onto the flat side of the support plate and place one of the prepared bots as shown in picture 3. Turn the assembly over and place 2 x M4 nuts as shown in pictures 4 and 5, tightening the bolts into the to secure the structure.

Do the same with the second bar as illustrated in pictures 6, 7 and 8.

Push the fixed connector into position as shown in picture 9, then turn the assembly over and secure this in place using 4 x E screws, pictures 10 and 11. Note: Picture 10 shows that two of the screws need to be threaded through two holes on the back of the structure from issue 47.

Pictures 11 and 12 show the completed assembly for this issue.
